"The jury of the Eurobois Awards aims to support and promote innovation in the wood sector by encouraging technological advancements and contributing to their dissemination. Innovation is one of the driving forces of sustainable industrial activity, respecting the environment and societal expectations. Xylofutur, the Competitiveness Cluster of the Forest-Wood sector, assists stakeholders in developing collaborations and partnerships, structuring, financing, and monitoring innovation and research projects, thereby contributing to the prominence of this sector. These are the reasons that led me to accept the honor and responsibility of chairing the professional jury of the Eurobois Awards. I have no doubt that the candidates will present us with exciting projects!"
