COHOME
During Eurobois 2024, the French Furniture Equipment Manufacturers introduced the new layout of laboratory, a 70m² laboratory of interior design, offering a groundbreaking concept to inspire designers and interior architects.
This co-living concept was presented in full-scale for the first time at Eurobois.
Designed by Studio Versavel, the layout laboratory served as a real-life showcase of collaborative expertise and innovative solutions from 11 leading interior design experts.
A new identity, a new dimension.
For its third edition, the layout laboratory has evolved from virtual designs to a tangible space: 70m² of optimized, multifunctional living space creating a full-scale urban co-living project. This innovative layout addressed the challenges of urban living with 12 distinct zones, including: a welcome area, a dining corner, a smile area, spaces for soft mobily and laundry, a multifunctional room, aptly named "The Good, the Bad and the Parent", and zones for creative hobbies, DIY, audi/video activities, and waste management.
These areas promoted a fresh approach to communal living while emphasizing modularity, sustainability, and customized solutions.
The layout laboratory was more than just a clever display of technical solutions; it embodies a societal project that blends corporate social responsibility (CSR), comfort, material integration, modularity, and bespoke design. It offers a practical, forward-thinking response to the needs of today’s designers and interior architects.
